So we headed down to Hartsville last weekend for Easter. I loaded the car up with my bag and Kara's and then proceeded to load Caroline's 15 bags. Well, Saturday evening as Kara and I were about to head out to the engagement party, that we were helping give, it dawned on us that we had not seen Caroline's Easter dress as we unpacked the car. Sudden panic set in as everyone realized that the child would have to perhaps wear a "regular" outfit for Easter. The way some relatives reacted you would have thought that we left the actual daughter in Charlotte and not a dress. I even heard mention of a phone call to DSS.
Well, Aunt Kelli had the 2nd good idea of her life (the first being when she told Kara that she ought to go on a date with that strapping senior named Curtis Guy) and suggested that we call the fashionista of Hartsville. So Caroline would like to give a big shout out to Ellis Bannister for the loaner Easter dress. Caroline's parents would also like to thank Ellis for saving their hides as well. Of course Caroline looked great and received many oohs and aahs at the First Presbyterian red carpet.
