Week at the Beach

After a much needed vacation, The Guy Family blog is back by popular demand (or b/c Mason was ready for an update). We had a great time visiting family, friends...and the doctor. Yes, I said the doctor! Caroline had yet another ear infection (her 3rd) so after a night of screaming we figured it may warrant a trip to Doctors Care.

Once we had all of that out of the way, we met Brooks, Stacey and Ellis at PF Changs for dinner. Ellis is such a polite young lady and gave Caroline lots of kisses. The love didn't stop there, Caroline got to spend time with her Aunt Kym, Uncle Russel and Ford. Ford is such a handsome and very smart boy with a nack for remembering names. He was smitten by Curtis or as his father taught him to say, "Turdis". I also gave him a book called "Pat the Bunny" in which he loved the characters Pat Kym called us during the week to tell us he would wake up calling for "Turdis".

Nana and Poppy joined us both weekends at the beach for some fun and even kept Caroline for us one evening so we could spend some time together for our 4th anniversary. Thanks Nana and Poppy!! We also spent time with Aunt Kelli, Uncle Robert and Amelia "Mil Mil" throughout the week. Mil Mil is a silly girl...she made us laugh so hard. She too was charmed by Curtis although she confuses him with Russel or "Rushal" as she says. By the end of the week she finally said "Cursey"! After hanging out on the beach with her for a day, I now know what to expect when Caroline is her age...and so I need to get in better shape is what I'm saying! She was running to the ocean, trying to walk up sand dunes and getting bogged down, eating her goldfish crackers with sand on them and trying to feed them to the "budzz" or birds.
