Caroline's first 4th of July was an eventful one. The day started out at 10AM with a parade through the neighborhood. At the end of the parade was a little block party complete with a pinata for the kids, cookies, cake, juice and USA themed trivia. Since Caroline was too young to eat or drink any of the stuff, Mom and Dad took care of her share. What, we didn't want it to go to waste...stop judging.
After the parade/block party we went over to Scott and Tiffany's for a cookout and kiddie pool party. Did I just say kiddie pool party? Boy, something tells me that the days of grown up July 4th's are over.

This was a good lesson for Caroline. If you're not the lead dog the scenery never changes.

One of the few, rare pictures that we have of the three of us. Notice Caroline enthralled at the kids swinging and hiting the pinata. I imagine that we better go ahead and hide anything breakable around the house.

We had to take this picture quickly because apparently the water temperature was not to the Princess' satisfaction. Quinn in the meantime was perfectly content with the high end amenities.
