D-Day!!

To begin, Curtis and I have already had an eventful year with the birth of our daughter, Caroline Ann. She came 5 weeks early on Feburary 15, 2008. It was a normal day and I had just left the post office mailing off some thank you notes from one of my baby showers and was heading to work. I arrived at work, got out of my car and then whoa....my water broke! I called the doc and then called Curtis immediately and told him to come and pick me up that it was time. We were both so calm, I even cracked a joke or two, telling him that he couldn't miss me b/c I would be the girl standing in a puddle in the parking lot. We laughed so hard and we will never forget what a fun day we had...until the contractions came of course!
The next few weeks of her tiny life were marked by more doctor visits and an overnight stay in the hospital to get rid of some unwanted janudice. Check out her cool shades she sported while "tanning"!
